What was the challenge?
A brand with 45 products on Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa relied on sponsored ads for most of its sales. Titles were written by the factory, Arabic listings were direct translations, and products often went out of stock during White Friday, undoing rank built over months.
What was the strategy?
- 01
Research how UAE and Saudi shoppers phrase searches in both languages
- 02
Rebuild listings to improve relevance and conversion together
- 03
Plan stock and reviews around peak events
What exactly was done?
3 moves, each with what was done and why it mattered.
- 01Keywords
Rebuilt keywords per marketplace
Pulled search terms from Brand Analytics and sponsored ad reports, then mapped them to titles, bullets and backend fields for each product.
Why it mattered: Amazon ranks on relevance and sales. Terms already proven to convert in ads were the safest ones to build organic rank around.
- 02Listing quality
Wrote Arabic listings from scratch
Replaced machine translation with native Arabic, added A+ Content and lifestyle images showing size and use in a UAE home.
Why it mattered: Better images and clear detail raised conversion, and conversion feeds rank. Arabic listings faced far less competition than English ones.
- 03Operations
Protected rank through White Friday
Forecast stock with the operations team, set reorder points and timed review requests through Amazon's own tool.
Why it mattered: Going out of stock loses rank quickly. Staying in stock through the peak meant the store kept positions other sellers lost.
What do I stand for?
Rank follows conversion
A listing has to sell as well as match the search.
Stock is an SEO issue
Availability protects rank, so operations sits in the plan.
