I'm Raaquib Pathan, a manufacturing SEO consultant in Dubai for factories, industrial suppliers and engineering firms across the UAE and GCC. Quick answer

What does a manufacturing SEO consultant in Dubai do?

A manufacturing SEO expert helps industrial firms reach engineers, procurement teams and distributors with the detail they actually search for. That covers product and application pages, specifications and standards, sector pages, documents that are easy to find, export market targeting, technical site fixes and tracking from organic visit through to RFQ and order.

Key facts

  • A global manufacturing brand I worked with grew from 5K to 45K organic visits, a 9x increase.
  • Conversions on that same project doubled year over year.
  • Engineers and buyers use very specific terms, so low-volume searches can carry high commercial value.
  • PDF datasheets alone are hard to find through search, so key specifications should also appear in HTML.

How do industrial buyers search in the GCC?

Industrial buyers in the GCC search with precision, using materials, grades, standards and dimensions. An engineer might start by checking a specification, while procurement compares suppliers, lead times and certificates. Distributors look for manufacturers to represent. Many check whether a supplier serves their country and sector, and whether its capabilities really match what the project requires.

  • Keyword tools underreport very specific product searches, so sales enquiries and on-site search reveal more.
  • Free zone and country of origin details can matter to buyers for customs reasons and on tenders.
  • Approved vendor lists mean some buyers are checking that you are credible before they ask about registration.
  • Factories in Jebel Ali, Dubai Investment Park, KIZAD, Musaffah and Sharjah often compete for the same buyers, so location and logistics details can tip the choice.
The hard parts

Why do manufacturers struggle with SEO?

Manufacturers struggle with SEO because product knowledge lives in catalogues, engineers and old PDFs, rather than on web pages. Sites are often brochures describing a company's history. Internal teams are not writers, B2B portals rank above them, and leads may be recorded poorly. As a result, a highly capable factory can be almost invisible to the buyers looking for it.

Everything is in a PDF

Catalogues are useful, but web pages rank much better. Key products and specifications should be on crawlable pages.

Portals rank above you

B2B directories rank for many product terms. Application detail and proof can help your own pages beat them.

Hard to get expert time

Engineers have the knowledge but not the time. Short interviews can turn their experience into content without burdening them.

Weak lead tracking

If RFQs arrive by email and phone, nobody knows where they started. A simple source field in your CRM changes that.

The playbook

My manufacturing SEO & AI search playbook

Raaquib Pathan's manufacturing playbook turns engineering knowledge into pages buyers can find. It organises products by application and material, adds specifications and standards in HTML, builds sector and export market pages, and fixes technical problems. Leads are tracked through to RFQs and orders, so that management sees commercial results, not only rising traffic numbers.

Your first 90 days

What happens in the first 90 days of manufacturing SEO?

The first 90 days of manufacturing SEO with Raaquib Pathan begin with interviews, RFQ tracking and a technical audit. Priority product lines and application pages follow, with specifications moved into HTML. The final month adds sector and export pages, trade media outreach and a benchmark of how AI assistants describe suppliers in your field.

What I measure

What should a manufacturer measure from SEO?

A manufacturer should measure RFQs, qualified enquiries and orders by product line and market rather than raw traffic. Raaquib Pathan connects organic visits to your CRM or a simple RFQ log, reviews lead quality with sales, and tracks export markets separately, so that management can see what search is contributing to the business.

Raaquib is a specialist, who is not only an expert in his domain, but has an in-born skill to plan, implement and handle his clients with ease. And right after he assures, he delivers. One step further... Raaquib spends enough time looking through your brand to know what genuinely works versus what doesnt. Therefore: no fluff, just SERP stuff. Keep up with the 'postioning'.

Questions

Manufacturing SEO in Dubai: common questions

These are questions manufacturers and industrial suppliers in the UAE ask about SEO: product pages, PDFs, B2B portals, exports and how long it takes. Raaquib Pathan answers from verified experience with a global manufacturing brand. Technical specifications and claims about standards should always be checked by your engineers before they are published.

  • Should we still publish PDF datasheets?

Yes, as engineers still want them, but do not rely on them alone. Put the key specifications, applications and standards on an HTML page, and offer the PDF as a download. That makes the information easier to find, read on a phone and quote in AI answers. Name your files clearly, and link to them from the right product page.

  • How can we compete with B2B portals?

Use portals where they bring profitable enquiries, but build your own pages as well. Portals have scale, though they rarely explain applications, standards or why one option suits a job. Your own engineers can provide that detail. Over time, strong product pages can win direct enquiries without a portal fee, and you keep the relationship with the buyer.

  • How do we get content from busy engineers?

Keep it short. A thirty-minute interview can produce several pages, which a writer then drafts and the engineer simply checks. Ask about common customer mistakes, how to choose between options and what clients always ask. This is easier for them than writing from scratch, and the content contains real knowledge that competitors cannot easily copy.

  • Should we target export markets?

If you already sell there or plan to, yes. Build pages for each market reflecting real distributors, certifications, shipping and lead times. Look at where enquiries already come from before deciding. Hreflang and language pages can help, but do not create pages for countries you cannot serve well. A focused start in two or three markets usually works better.

  • What is a manufacturing SEO expert's first priority?

Usually finding out what is actually worth selling more of. That means talking to sales and looking at margins, then checking whether those product lines can be found. Technical problems often come next, particularly when products are locked away in PDFs or poor navigation. Publishing lots of general blog content is rarely the right first step for a manufacturer.

  • How long does manufacturing SEO take?

Technical fixes can show early effects within weeks, and new product pages commonly take four to eight months to perform well. Orders may then take longer because of long purchase cycles. Agree early measures such as RFQs and qualified enquiries, so that progress is visible long before the first big orders arrive through search.
