Enterprise SEO Consultant in Dubai

I'm Raaquib Pathan, an enterprise SEO consultant in Dubai for large organisations with complex sites, several countries and many stakeholders. At this scale, knowing what to fix is the easy part. Getting it through product, legal, brand and engineering is the hard part. I help you do both, and I report in terms leadership actually acts on.

Quick answer

What does an enterprise SEO consultant in Dubai do?

An enterprise SEO expert improves search performance across large, complex sites while working through the organisation that runs them. That means log analysis, crawl and indexing control, hreflang across markets, template-level fixes, governance across teams and agencies, SEO requirements in product releases, AI search visibility and reporting on non-brand revenue for leadership.

By Raaquib Pathan · Updated

Key facts

  • Google's crawl budget guidance is aimed at very large sites and those with rapidly changing content.
  • Hreflang helps Google show the right language or country version, but errors can spread across thousands of URLs.
  • I grew a global manufacturing brand 9x organically across multiple regions.
  • At this scale one template change can affect far more pages than any content project.

A group with six country sites and five agencies needed standards more than new content. Central hreflang, template fixes and SEO checks in the release process showed up as non-brand growth leadership could finally see.

How do enterprise buyers and customers search across the GCC?

Enterprise customers search across the GCC in several languages and by very different journeys, depending on product line and country. Brand terms often hide weak visibility elsewhere. Internally, teams look for technical partners who can work at scale. Decisions about hiring SEO help usually involve procurement, marketing and technology leaders comparing consultants, agencies and in-house options.

  • Brand search can hide problems, so non-brand performance needs to be reported separately.
  • Each market has its own competitors, regulators and languages, even when the template is shared.
  • Stakeholders tend to search for answers to specific problems before they look for an outside expert.
  • Regional teams in DIFC, ADGM, Business Bay and Abu Dhabi often manage sites for Riyadh and the wider Gulf, so priorities can differ by office.
The hard parts

Why does enterprise SEO stall in large organisations?

Enterprise SEO usually stalls for organisational reasons rather than technical ones. Tickets wait behind product work, several agencies follow different standards, brand and legal slow down changes, and no one person owns search. Meanwhile crawl waste, broken hreflang and duplicate templates quietly affect millions of URLs. Without governance, even the best audit just gathers dust on someone's drive.

Backlog bottlenecks

SEO fixes compete with revenue features. Without sponsorship and a clear business case, they often wait for months.

No single standard

Different country teams and agencies make different decisions, so errors keep coming back after they are fixed.

Crawl waste at scale

Filters, parameters and old sections can consume crawl activity that should go to pages that make money.

Brand hides the truth

Large brand traffic makes everything look healthy until you isolate non-brand clicks and revenue.

Risky releases

A single deployment can quietly break canonicals or block sections. Automated checks catch that before rankings fall.

The playbook

My enterprise SEO & AI search playbook

Raaquib Pathan's enterprise playbook starts with data at scale, including log files and non-brand revenue, then focuses on template fixes with the largest effect. It sets shared standards across teams and agencies, puts SEO into the release process, and reports to leadership regularly, so search stops being a list of problems and becomes a managed business channel.

SEO Consulting

I size opportunities in revenue terms, and build a roadmap leadership can sponsor and engineering can actually plan for.

  • Opportunity sizing model
  • Prioritised roadmap
  • Executive reporting

Technical SEO

This is log analysis, crawl control, hreflang mapping, rendering and migration planning at the template level.

  • Log file analysis
  • Central hreflang mapping
  • Release test checklist

Link Building Strategy

Enterprises already earn lots of mentions. I work with PR teams to turn these into links, and to point authority where needed.

  • PR and SEO alignment
  • Unlinked mention recovery
  • Internal authority planning
Off-page SEO and link building

International SEO

I define domain, language and market rules, then help country teams work to one standard.

  • International architecture
  • Market rollout rules
  • Arabic and regional guidance

Fractional SEO Leadership

As fractional head of SEO, I bring together product, engineering, brand, legal and agencies, and keep them moving.

  • Governance model
  • Agency standards
  • Quarterly board update

Your first 90 days

What happens in the first 90 days of enterprise SEO?

The first 90 days of enterprise SEO with Raaquib Pathan begin with access, log data and interviews with stakeholders. A sized roadmap follows, with template fixes sent to engineering and shared standards for agencies. The final month puts SEO into the release process and sets up leadership reporting, along with a benchmark of AI visibility by market.

  1. Days 1–30

    Diagnose

    • Interview key stakeholders
    • Analyse logs and crawl data
    • Separate brand and non-brand
    • Size the largest opportunities
  2. Days 31–60

    Prioritise and ship

    • Agree a roadmap with sponsors
    • Write engineering tickets
    • Fix top template issues
    • Centralise hreflang rules
  3. Days 61–90

    Make it stick

    • Add SEO to release checks
    • Set agency standards
    • Launch leadership reporting
    • Benchmark AI visibility

Honest timing: Crawl changes can show within weeks of release. Revenue impact usually takes three to nine months, and it depends mostly on how fast your organisation ships.

What I measure

What should an enterprise measure from SEO?

An enterprise should measure non-brand revenue, market performance and how quickly fixes ship, rather than total traffic alone. Raaquib Pathan reports across countries and categories, tracks crawl health and release errors, and shows the value of work waiting in the backlog, so that leadership can make clear decisions about where to invest engineering time.

Raaquib is a specialist, who is not only an expert in his domain, but has an in-born skill to plan, implement and handle his clients with ease. And right after he assures, he delivers. One step further... Raaquib spends enough time looking through your brand to know what genuinely works versus what doesnt. Therefore: no fluff, just SERP stuff. Keep up with the 'postioning'.

Questions

Enterprise SEO in Dubai: common questions

These are questions marketing, digital and technology leaders at large organisations in the UAE commonly ask about enterprise SEO: how it differs, how to work with agencies, how to get engineering time and how long it takes. Raaquib Pathan answers based on experience with large, multi-region sites and the realities of big teams.

  • How is enterprise SEO different from regular SEO?

The principles are the same, but the scale and politics change everything. A template change affects thousands of pages, several teams need to agree, and mistakes are costly. Much of the work is prioritising, persuading and setting standards. Technical skills such as log analysis matter more, and the ability to work with engineering and leadership matters most of all.

  • Can a consultant work alongside our existing agencies?

Yes, and that is a common setup. I can set standards, review their work and make priorities clear, while they carry on delivering content or links. This works best when roles are agreed from the start and everyone sees the same reporting. It should not be about catching people out. It should help the agencies do better work.

  • How do we get engineering time for SEO?

Make a business case for each fix, in revenue or risk terms, and give engineers precise tickets they can actually build. Batch similar work together and connect it to existing projects where possible. Build SEO checks into releases, so fixes do not need to be repeated. A named sponsor in leadership can make a big difference to all of this.

  • Do you work with in-house SEO teams?

Yes. Many enterprises have talented in-house people who need senior support, a second opinion or help getting attention from leadership. I can fill a gap in strategy, technical work or governance, then step back as your team takes over. Building up your internal capability is often better value than relying permanently on any outside consultant.

  • How should we handle a major site migration?

Treat it as a business risk with SEO involved from the start. Benchmark current performance, map URLs, test templates and redirects on staging, and agree launch criteria with everyone involved. Avoid launching near peak trading. Monitor logs and Search Console closely afterwards. Most serious traffic losses come from decisions made months before anyone notices the problem.

  • How long does enterprise SEO take to show results?

Crawl and indexing changes may show within weeks of being released. Revenue usually follows in three to nine months. In practice, the biggest factor is how quickly your organisation can ship changes. A perfect plan stuck in a backlog achieves nothing. That is why I focus early on sponsorship and on the process as much as on the technical work.
