What was the challenge?
A CBUAE-licensed wallet and remittance app was growing through paid social, but acquisition costs were rising every quarter. Searches like "send money to India from UAE" and "cheapest way to send money to Pakistan" went to exchange houses and comparison sites. Marketing content had to pass compliance review, which slowed every page to a crawl.
What was the strategy?
- 01
Build a page for every remittance corridor the app serves
- 02
Publish honest fee and exchange rate comparisons
- 03
Create a content process that compliance could approve quickly
What exactly was done?
4 moves, each with what was done and why it mattered.
- 01Site structure
Corridor pages
Built 18 corridor pages such as "Send money from UAE to India", each with live rates, fees, delivery times, payout methods and limits, in English, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu.
Why it mattered: Remittance searches are corridor-specific and high-intent. A page with live rates and fees answers the question and leads straight to the app.
- 02Content
Fee comparison guides
Published guides comparing total cost of sending money through banks, exchange houses and apps, with methodology and sources shown.
Why it mattered: Comparison searches are where users decide. Transparent, sourced comparisons earned trust and links, and passed compliance because every claim was verifiable.
- 03Compliance
A fast approval workflow
Agreed claim templates and banned phrases with the compliance team up front, so most pages needed a single review.
Why it mattered: Approval time dropped from three weeks to four days, which let the content plan keep pace with search demand.
- 04App store
Web to app handoff
Added smart app banners and deep links from corridor pages, with install attribution tracked from organic search.
Why it mattered: Organic visitors could go straight from a rate check to the app, and the business could finally see SEO's share of installs.
What do I stand for?
Compliance is part of the plan
In finance, content that can't be approved can't rank. Building the approval process is SEO work.
Transparency converts
Showing real fees and rates earns more trust than claiming to be the cheapest.
