What was the challenge?
A dental group with branches in Jumeirah, JLT and Mirdif ranked for its own name and little else. All three branches shared one generic services page, the Business Profiles listed the same phone number, and patients searching "dental implants JLT" or "invisalign Mirdif" found the big chains and aggregator sites instead. Most bookings came through WhatsApp, but nobody could tell which ones started on Google.
What was the strategy?
- 01
Make each branch a local business in its own right: profile, page, reviews and tracking
- 02
Rebuild treatment pages so each one answers cost, insurance and recovery questions, reviewed by a dentist
- 03
Measure WhatsApp, calls and form bookings by branch and treatment, then double down on what books
What exactly was done?
4 moves, each with what was done and why it mattered.
- 01Local SEO
Rebuilt all three Business Profiles
Gave each branch its own categories, phone number, WhatsApp link, opening hours, treatment list and photos, and linked each profile to a dedicated branch page instead of the homepage.
Why it mattered: Google ranks the map pack per location. A branch that looks like a copy of its sister clinic competes with itself. Separate, complete profiles took all three branches into the top three for their area within four months.
- 02Content
Wrote treatment pages per branch, reviewed by a dentist
Built pages for implants, Invisalign, veneers, root canal and paediatric dentistry for each branch, covering price ranges, accepted insurers, recovery time and the dentist who performs the treatment. A licensed dentist reviewed every page.
Why it mattered: Patients search a treatment and an area together. A page that names the area, the insurer and the dentist answers the question that decides the booking, and medical review keeps the content within DHA advertising rules.
- 03Reputation
Started a review routine at the front desk
Set up a simple routine: after each appointment, the front desk sends a WhatsApp message with the branch's own review link. Replies to reviews were written within 48 hours.
Why it mattered: Review count and freshness are among the strongest local ranking signals, and they are what patients read before booking. The group went from 140 to 610 Google reviews across branches in the year.
- 04Measurement
Tracked every booking back to its page
Added click tracking on WhatsApp and call buttons, tagged profile links with UTM parameters, and set up GA4 key events per branch and treatment.
Why it mattered: Once the clinic could see which treatment pages produced bookings, budget and content moved to implants and Invisalign, the two highest-value treatments, rather than to whatever got the most visits.
What do I stand for?
Every branch is its own local business
Patients choose a dentist within a short drive. Each branch gets the profile, page and reviews a standalone clinic would need.
Medical content is reviewed by clinicians
A dentist signs off every treatment page. It protects patients, keeps the clinic compliant and is what Google expects from health content.
