What was the challenge?
A courier company with three hubs offered same-day delivery for individuals and cash-on-delivery services for online sellers, but both audiences landed on the same homepage. "Same day courier Dubai" searches were dominated by aggregators, and sellers comparing COD partners found nothing about returns, remittance times or integrations.
What was the strategy?
- 01
Split the site into two journeys: send a parcel now, and become a seller partner
- 02
Win the local searches that need delivery today, area by area
- 03
Give online sellers the details they compare: COD, returns, remittance and integrations
What exactly was done?
4 moves, each with what was done and why it mattered.
- 01Site structure
Two journeys, two sets of pages
Built a "Send a parcel" section with instant pricing and booking, and a "For online sellers" section with COD, returns and integration pages.
Why it mattered: A person sending documents today and a seller shipping 300 orders a week want different answers. Separating them lifted conversion for both.
- 02Local SEO
Area and route pages
Published pages for high-demand routes such as "Dubai to Abu Dhabi same day delivery" and for business districts, with cut-off times and prices.
Why it mattered: Urgent delivery searches are local and specific. Pages that show the cut-off time and price answer the question in seconds.
- 03Content
Seller guides and comparison pages
Wrote guides on COD remittance, return handling and how to choose a courier for a Shopify or WooCommerce store, with integration pages for each platform.
Why it mattered: Sellers compare partners before they switch. Clear, honest detail on remittance times and integrations is what turned research into account sign-ups.
- 04Technical SEO
Fast booking and tracking pages
Moved the booking widget server-side, cut mobile load time to under two seconds, and kept tracking pages out of the index.
Why it mattered: Most urgent bookings happen on a phone. Speed decided whether a visitor booked or went back to the results.
What do I stand for?
Different buyers, different pages
One homepage cannot serve a one-off sender and a high-volume seller. Each gets its own path.
Answer the urgent question first
For same-day searches, price, cut-off and booking belong at the top of the page.
